Not happy with just slanting the news, AP has moved on to outright lies

In case you missed it on Captain's Quarters, Power Line, and the other unbiased news sources:

The AP ran this story:

WEST ALLIS, Wis. - President Bush on Friday wished Bill Clinton "best wishes for a swift and speedy recovery." "He's is in our thoughts and prayers," Bush said at a campaign rally. Bush's audience of thousands in West Allis, Wis., booed.Bush did nothing to stop them. Bush offered his wishes while campaigning one day after accepting the presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention in New York. Clinton was hospitalized in New York after complaining of ild chest pain and shortness of breath. Bush recently praised Clinton when the ormer president went to the White House for the unveiling of his official portrait. He auded Clinton for his knowledge, compassion and "the forward-looking spirit that mericans like in a president."

There's only one problem with the story. The boos were the product of the reporter's imagination. It's one thing to only report the good news about one candidate and the bad news about the other. The mainstream media has been playing that game for years. Looks like now that they've realized that isn't enough to swing the election to their boy, they've decided to take it to a new level.

Moved over, Al-Jazeera, make room for the American press.

It's a sign of the Generational Times...I'd like to think that this "creative" journalist(?) got his/her ass chewed out by a superior; but since the "likes" of The Guardian, etc. have already reported the "Boos...", the bastard probably got a promotion from stringer to cub reporter...

::angry+::

Now, with "today's media;" one "sees" the shit before one "hears" the fart...(You may quote me...ROTFLMFAO!) Well, Bob Kerrey says it...

Apologies fer' soilin' yer' blog...

Mike
