"Winning" the War on Terror

I'd bookmarked some things to come back to thinking I might post on how the Democrats, and the always fair mainstream media, are trying to spin George Bush's statement that “I don't think you can win [the war on terror]," but Michelle Malkin is all over it better than I could ever hope to be. Check out PUTTING BUSH THROUGH THE SPIN CYCLE. The only relevant thing I know of that she's missed is the President's interview with Rush Limbaugh. From that interview:

Really what I was saying to Lauer was, is that this is not the kind of war where you sit down and sign a peace treaty. It's a totally different kind of war. But we will win it.

So, Johnny Edwards thinks "This is no time to declare defeat." ... Doh.
