Watch the convention speeches online

A big hat tip to Allah for telling me where to find videos and transcripts of the Republican National Convention speeches. Just go to http://www.2004nycgop.org/rewind/ and watch as many as you have time for, then download some transcripts to read later.

If you only have time for one speech, make it Senator Zell Miller's. Miller, a life-long Democrat, served two terms as Governor of Georgia before being elected to the Senate in 2000. Twelve years ago, he gave the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention, which nominated Bill Clinton to his first term in the White House. In other words, a real Republican party hack. Watching the video of his speech will take you 16 minutes. Do it. It's important.
